Overview

FreeStyle Libre 2+ is a real‑time continuous glucose monitoring (rtCGM) system designed to support people living with diabetes across both primary and specialist care pathways. The system provides automatic glucose readings every minute, transmitted directly to a compatible smartphone or FreeStyle Libre 2 reader. The sensor is worn on the upper arm and lasts up to 15 days. FreeStyle Libre 2+ is licensed for use from age 2 years and above, supporting use across paediatric, transition, and adult services.
